Super Bowl lures human trafficking criminals

Human trafficking is becoming more of a problem, and authorities are hoping to catch criminals at the upcoming Super Bowl game tomorrow. Authorities say they are keeping an extra eye out tomorrow for problems such as sex trafficking during the Super Bowl. Crime enforcers are urging workers to monitor places which are regularly used but are still considered to be somewhat private, like hotels and neighborhoods. The author, Kim, uses pathos and logos to explain how human trafficking can occur in many different forms. She includes a quotation from a previous victim of human trafficking as she recalls how her boyfriend drugged and raped her then threatened her with blackmail should she decide to rat him out.  Kim uses logos to state the regular occurrences of human trafficking. She includes a quotation from an authority, who encourages people to report any sort of suspicious or unusual behavior. Reassurance is also added to the article where it is told that undercover detectives will be actively looking for anything suspicious online in chatrooms as well as having placed soaps with a victim hotline number on the back so they can call for help. Kim ends her article by including logos; she explains the telltale ways to identify human trafficking victims and also includes a number people can call to report anything that appears out of place.
